Annual Report 2023
According to our Honorary President Martin Scorsese, "Cinema has no future if we don't know its history." To be able to know this history at all, it must be preserved in a sustainable manner. 2023 was in this respect a very important year for us: In September, we held the groundbreaking ceremony for our new museum depot and digital lab in Vienna's Arsenal, and in December, we were informed that as of 2024, the City of Vienna would significantly increase our annual funding, making a decisive contribution to better compensating our team and better securing our work. This should all be an incentive to do our job even better in all the fields where we're active. Our annual report gives you a peak behind the curtain.
