The film is a reference to Virginia Woolf's Orlando – a key figure in queer cultural history and associated transgender subjects. Shots of Scheirl's friends Carl Bloyer and Andrea Dürr, walking through or eating in a barren landscape, are cut together so that the two figures are pushed into each other.
