One of the most beloved traditions at the Austrian Film Museum is our annual series of Marx Brothers films from our collection between Christmas and New Years. After a pause due to the Covid lockdowns, we have not continued the tradition in the past years because some of the film prints are no longer in a state fit for decent projection. But a five year pause is long enough! After searching the archive, we will bring four of the best preserved prints back to the screen and rejuvenate the tradition: Christmas, Marxism, brotherhood!
