For students ages 6-18

"Cineschool" invites students ages 6-18 to experience film free of charge in all of its many forms. Registration is possible via a registration form and all events are in German (unless stated otherwise).

"Cineschool" offers the following moduls:
LECTURE: Film educators and Film Museum employees design lectures on different historical and aesthetic aspects of film. Short films and film excerps are shown and discussed with the students.
IN THE STUDIO OF ... : Filmmakers and artists ranging from director to actor to production designer conceptualize two-hour lectures to talk about their profession and passion.
FILM-TALK: Contemporary films are shown in their original format and are followed by a discussion with the director.
CLOSE-UP: A film is shown in its original format and language in the cinema and is analysed with the help of chosen sequences.
CINEMA NEXT: Presentation of young cinema from Austria with conversations about the films as well as the different paths and possibilities that lead to making films.
