Megacities

In four Megacities around the globe – Moscow, Mexico City, New York and Bombay – Austrian filmmaker Michael Glawogger is documenting small, sometimes absurd but always representative stories about urban life. Thus the movie becomes a parabolic picture of the modern urban experience in all its facets while at the same time casting its documentary gaze full of curiosity on its characters whose lives it depicts relentlessly and senitively alike.
 
The screening (90 min) will be followed by a discussion with director Michael Glawogger.
